The founding story
Built by someone who sat on the hiring side first
Cordelia Morgan-Cooper has spent her whole career in people roles: recruitment, talent acquisition and HR. After several years inside two large gaming companies in Malta she kept meeting the same problem, which was how few recruiters really understood the industry they were hiring for.
CMC Consulting was built to close that gap. One team for everything people related, covering both recruitment and HR, working with companies as they grow.
Today that means compliance, tech, commercial and operations hiring for operators and suppliers across Malta, the EU, the Middle East and fully remote teams, plus hospitality and tourism through our Hands-On Recruitment division.

I kept watching good iGaming companies hire the wrong people because their recruiter had never worked a day in the industry. That is the whole reason CMC exists.
How we work
Five things we do on every search
No two briefs are the same, but the method underneath them does not change.
We start with the role
Before anyone writes an advert we agree what the person has to deliver in their first six months, and what they must already know on day one. Most bad hires are decided at this stage, not at interview.
We approach people directly
We map the companies where the skill actually sits and go to those people. Job boards come last, and often not at all. The best candidates in iGaming are not reading adverts.
We interview to a scorecard
Everyone on the panel sees the same questions and scores against the same profile. It means you can compare two candidates properly instead of comparing two conversations.
We keep the network warm
Years of meetups, conferences and referrals across Malta and the wider EU. A large share of our placements never applied for anything, they took a call.
We manage the awkward part
Offer, counter-offer, notice period and the first week. This is where hires fall over, so it is where we stay closest.
